Customer Benefits
Cetus HiPerSYN Oils deliver value through:
- Long lubricant life in high temperature operations — Outstanding thermal and oxidation stability.
- Long machinery life and maximum compressor efficiency — Oxidative stability and low carbon-forming tendencies minimize sludge and deposit formation.
- Long drain intervals — Long lubricant life means less frequent oil changes.
Applications
Features
- Recommended for air compressors, especially portable and stationary rotary, vane and screw compressors, and industrial bearings and gears that require an R&O type synthetic gear oil.
- Designed for applications with wider operating temperature ranges as compared to non-synthetic oils.
Cetus PAO
Product description
Cetus® PAO oil is a premium performance, synthetic compressor oil based on polyalphaolefin technology.
Available in ISO grades 32, 46, 68
Customer Benefits
Extended oil service life
Outstanding oxidation stability of the polyalphaolefin base fluid and inhibitor system resists oil breakdown at the elevated temperatures encountered in compressor service, permitting oil drain intervals to be extended beyond those achieved with conventional lubricants.
Protects equipment
Polyalphaolefin base fluid helps to provide an effective oil film to protect highly loaded parts against wear under high temperature operating conditions, as well as during low temperature start-up. Effective inhibitor system provides excellent rust and corrosion protection. Anti-wear additive minimizes wear under severe operating conditions.
Smooth operation
Outstanding thermal and oxidation stability enables the polyalphaolefin lubricant to resist deposit formation in the heat of the compression cycle, even under severe service conditions.
Applications
- Cetus® PAO oil is a premium performance, synthetic compressor oil based on polyalphaolefin technology.
- Cetus® PAO contains a rust and oxidation inhibitor system plus anti-wear additives to provide outstanding oxidation resistance and corrosion protection.
- Cetus® PAO minimizes wear under severe operating conditions.
Features
- Flooded screw compressors
- Rotary air compressors
- Reciprocating air compressors
- Medium-speed marine diesel engine turbochargers
Compressor Oil EP VDL
Product description
Compressor Oil EP VDL are a range of high performance compressor lubricants. These lubricants are formulated with high quality paraffinic base oils combined with an additive system designed to promote oxidation resistance, corrosion protection and robust extreme pressure characteristics.
Compressor Oil EP VDL offer smooth, economical performance and reliable protection against piston and valve deposit formation, helping reduce the risk of fire or explosion in compressors under severe service conditions.
Customer Benefits
- Robust formulation promotes extended lubricant service life and equipment uptime
- Formulated to contribute to compressor performance and protection, helping reduce maintenance and downtime
- Aids reliable performance in severe, extreme pressure operations, promoting extended compressor service life
Applications
- Extended lubricant service life
- Reduced maintenance and downtime
- Severe, extreme pressure protection
Features
- Compressor Oil EP VDL are recommended for stationary and portable compressors, including compressors with oil lubricated pressure space, such as single and multistage reciprocating compressors or single and multistage centrifugal compressors
- The EP VDL 32 and EP VDL 46 grades are recommended primarily for use in oil-flooded screw compressors as well as centrifugal compressors. At extremely high compression pressures (approximately 1000 bar), such as in multistage reciprocating compressors, the higher viscosity grades may be used. However, particular care should be observed regarding the prescribed viscosity specification, as required by the compressor manufacturer
- Compressor Oil EP can be used in air or inert gas reciprocating compressors
